A Ryles Tube, also known as a nasogastric (NG) tube, is a thin, flexible medical tube inserted through the nose into the stomach. It is mainly used for providing nutrition and fluids to patients who are unable to swallow, delivering medicines directly into the stomach, removing stomach contents, and relieving excess gas or fluids.
